Me So Tired of Being So Tired

I was at work for 5 hours on Monday and another 6 hours yesterday, and I was completely KNOCKED OUT! I could hardly open my eyes this morning. In fact, it doesn't matter how many hours I spend at work on any given day, I can hardly keep my eyes open after 9pm and I clunk out before 10pm... usually on the couch.

Our attempts to keep the news to only family members have pretty much failed. At first, Bill was the first to break the rule by telling Ben. That allowed me to tell one friend. Then Bill told a girl he does the recording with, so I told my childhood friend in Seattle. Now I've broken the rule and am in the lead in the "I can't keep my mouth shut" game. I told my fellow coordinators* because I've been taking so much time off during my coordinator hours that I thought they should know why I haven't been pulling my own weight. The coordinators then told our supervisors because they felt that the supervisors are really the people who have to okay it. The good thing is that my supervisors then instructed all the secretaries not to bother me with the little things. "Kate needs rest," she said. I thought that was very nice of them.

*I work with two male coordinators and I found it amusing how differently they reacted when I told them I was pregnant. John, a father of two, immediately went, "Aw~~ that's wonderful" and started giving me all kinds of tips. Shannon, who is not thinking about having children, referred to the pregnancy as a "medical condition".

I should stop here and go for a walk before I start feeling tired again.
