My First Mother's Day

7 in the morning. I woke up to this:

Kai had a bottle of Tabasco Sauce in his hands.
In fact, he was about to stuff it in his mouth right when we took the picture.

Then Bill brought this in:

Mommy's Day tradition: Breakfast in bed
Scrambled eggs with onions, tomatoes, and chorizo sausage. A BIG slice of blueberry pie (Mmm....) , and decaf coffee

While Bill and Kai went grocery shopping, I wanted to have pictures of myself with my hair down.

These were my pathetic attempts to take a picture of myself in the mirror. Evidently, I'm not very good at it. I think I was supposed to be looking at the mirror, but it felt weird...

After I put Kai down for his afternoon nap, Bill stayed home and I went to see a movie. I also bought two pairs of cute summer sandals on the way home (They were US$10 bucks each. Hard to resist...).

Bill made chicken enchiladas for dinner.... with lots of cheese..... mmmmm... cheeeeeese.

My first Mother's Day, a day I kept my hair down and my feet up. I'd like to thank my husband Bill and my son Kai to make this possible. I love you both very much.

Oh, here are pictures of my feet up on the couch, wearing my new pretty sandals.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL MAMAS.

NICE SANDALS! And did you mean $10 in NT?! ;-)

Those are some very cute pictures you took of yourself. Nice job. The one with the puffed cheeks is so adorable I want to come and pinch your cheeks!
