Every Parent Needs a "Good Job"

We went out for dinner last night. When the family at the table next
to ours was leaving, the mom came over, put her hand on my shoulder
and said, "I know how difficult this is, and that's why I have to tell
you this: good job, mom and dad. Your baby's so great in a restaurant,
and that's all you. Good job!!"

Bill replied with modesty, "It's all him. We just got lucky!"

I don't think I've ever receieved a "Good Job" in a restaurant. I don't remember if we did with Natalie, but I can't see that we ever will with Maggie.

LOL, Juli. We'll have to see how things go once Kai's able to walk and talk like Maggie.

We kept him occupied with food and the new cars Grandma gave him. That lady wouldn't have said that if she saw Kai at bedtime...

Shellee, we want to live here. We're just not quite ready yet.
