Out of the blue, Kai said to me in all seriousness, "You get what you get. Don't get upset, mommy."
Apparently he learnt that from school.

After having a couple of his requests denied, the 2-and-a-half-year-old let me in some some tips to his happiness: "Don't say no, mommy. Say yeah, and Kai will be happy."
