Evidently, Kai's reality sometimes collides with Kai's fantasy (aka the movie Cars):
"Daddy is Flo. Mommy, you are Filmore. I'm Mater, and baby sister's Luigi. Wai-puo is Lizzie. Grandpa is police car. Grandma is Lightning McQueen. And Holly is Red the Fire truck."
... and there's more:
"Holly doesn't like Flo. She will cry and bark."

When Kai was playing with 2 Maters:
"Big Mater found baby Mater, and he's happy."
"Why is he happy, Kai?"
"He's at home."
(Did I just hear you go "Aw~~~"?)



Here's the big boy who likes to take care of his loved ones:
"Kai, don't bang your cars on the table. It's too noisy."
"Don't worry, mommy. I'll put them to sleep. I just need a towel." (ran into the kitchen and back with a towel) "See? I'll put them to sleep... just like this. Don't worry, mommy."


"Baby sister has an owie, mommy. (s)He has a circle band-aid, and I have a Mater band-aid. Don't cry, baby sister. I will give baby sister a kiss, mommy, and (s)he will feel better... on his circle band-aid."
