When you have dorky parents....

you get dorky pictures!

Oh, but learning about the planets is so much fun!

THIS JUST IN
Reporting LIVE from Mommy's office at the LTTC:

Daddy and I both went out to see the solar eclipse at work today. Mommy (you wer there too) saw it with a bunch of teachers and students outside the LTTC building; daddy went up to the roof with Uncle Ben and other colleagues.

It's a HUGE deal here, and everyone is very excited. Check out this article from GEEKDAD (remind you of anyone?) in Wired Magazine: "At dawn on Wednesday, July 22nd, in the Gulf of Khambhat just of the coast of India, the sun will rise in an eclipse.the eclipse will last as long as 6 minutes and 39 seconds in some places in the South Pacific. That will make it the longest solar eclipse of the 21st Century. The theoretical maximum length of an eclipse is 7 and a half minutes."

In Taiwan, it was a partial eclipse. Through our sunglasses and a little piece of film in front of our eyes, we witnessed this amazing moment and it was awesome~~~~. You know it's awesome too 'cause you're kicking like mad now as I record this moment on your blog.

Oh my gosh! We weren't kidding. SO cute! Hmmm. Wanna send Maggie an original "Auntie Kate"? I associate her with birds for some reason. Maybe because of all of her nicknames; Maggie, Mags, Madge, Magpie...
Really, Kate, these drawings for Peanut are so precious!
