Drill Sergeant Bill: "Do we have everything ready for Peanut?"

Mommy Trainee Kate: "I think so."

Drill Sergeant Bill:: "Diapers?"

Mommy Trainee Kate: "Yup."

Drill Sergeant Bill:: "How many bags?"

Mommy Trainee Kate: "Just one... for now. We won't know the exact size he needs until we meet him anyway. Keiko told me about this Japanese brand, and apparently it's the softest kind."

Drill Sergeant Bill:: "But Peanut's gonna be a Caucasian-Chinese mix... not Japanese. How many diapers are in that bag?"

Kate: "I don't know. I just grabbed it off the shelf... didn't read the bag..."

Drill Sergeant Bill:: "Have you ever used a diaper, Kate?"

Mommy Trainee Kate: "Nope!"

Drill Sergeant Bill:: "Not even when you were staying with Scott and Lisa? You didn't change Jordy?"

Mommy Trainee Kate: "Nope! I watched as Lisa changed Jordy. That's about it."

Drill Sergeant Bill:: "Oh~~~ (laughing and shaking his head)"

Mommy Trainee Kate: "I've watched a few videos. It doesn't look that hard."

Drill Sergeant Bill:: "Well, maybe you should practice."

Mommy Trainee Kate: "On what? Nuenue?"

Drill Sergeant Bill:: "I'm gonna go get a couple of cantaloupes, wrap them together, and smear some mashed mangoes and maybe some chunky bits between the cantaloupes, wait for it to dry a bit, and you can try to clean it up."

Mommy Trainee Kate: "Uh-oh..."
