Cover Baby

One of Bill's friends sent us this ad from a baby magazine company. The boy and the girl on the cover are his kids.


They're asking parents of Caucasian babies and Caucasian-Asian mixed babies to submit 3 pictures of their babies (aged 6 to 12 months). Then the baby may be selected to be the cover baby of that magazine. We wanted to give it a shot. We thought it'd be fun, if Kai gets selected, to see him on the cover, and it would make a fantastic keepsake.So I sent a message via Facebook to family members and some close friends, asking them to help me choose 3 pictures from the most recent album, and these are the three pictures that received most votes:

#2 (8 votes) Show Mommy Your Teeth


and the picture that received the most votes
#1 (12 votes) The Pea Pod


Then I added this picture, just in case they need a full body shot (I know it's not really full body, but at least he's not sitting on the couch, like in the previous 3 pictures).



So we'll see. The ad didn't indicate what happens next or when they'll notify us. I asked a few questions in my email, hopefully we'll hear from them soon.
